Old School Soaps

Hi, I’m Petra, the founder of Old School Soap. I’ve been making skincare products for over 25 years, launching my brand in 2015. My daughter helps me at markets, and together we promote an eco-friendly ethos, using plastic-free packaging and offering store credit for returned containers. My journey into skincare was fueled by my interest in natural medicine and my experience with chronic psoriasis, which has made me aware of the challenges many face in finding gentle products. What started as a personal soap-making endeavor turned into a business after I attended a workshop and completed a business course to formalise my brand. I continue to research and refine my recipes and have recently added long-time personal skincare preparations to the Old School Soap range, some of which are available at Yoggiebear.
